Martin Jones, MSW, LCSW

District Chief

Martin Jones, Jr. is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 19 years of social work experience. He graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology, and earned a MSW from Clark Atlanta University. In addition, Mr. Jones completed management and leadership training programs at the University of Southern California and California State University at Northridge. Mr. Jones’ social work experience spans several populations including children, adolescents, adults and older adults. He has worked in several practice settings including out-patient clinics, forensic facilities and with the developmentally disabled. In addition, Mr. Jones served as a Subject Matter Expert for the California Board of Behavioral Sciences regarding the California LCSW written and clinical vignette examinations. He has also been certified as a Domestic Violence Counselor and has provided Court ordered Batterers’ Intervention Counseling as an independent contractor in the Palmdale and Santa Clarita areas. Mr. Jones has worked with families court ordered into counseling due to Department of Children’s and Family Services intervention. Currently, Mr. Jones works for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health as a Clinical District Chief in the Older Adult System of Care Bureau, where he coordinates, monitors and plans innovative evidenced-based services for older adults.
