Auleria Eakins, a native of Los Angeles, received a Master’s in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Health Care Management from California State University, Dominquez Hills. She is currently employed by L.A. Care Health Plan as the Manager of Community Outreach and Engagement and volunteers countless hours working with adolescents and adults in various areas of Los Angeles County to promote health access and advocacy in low income and vulnerable populations. Ms. Eakins currently serves as Board Chair for Black women for Wellness a grassroots reproductive health and advocacy organization, is a member of The Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society of Public Administrators, American Society for Training and Development and Theta Upsilon Sigma Alumni Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
